Pitchmarks: 1+1=0

On every green, repair your pitchmark and at least one other.  Help us make 1+1=0

The club follows a responsible and sustainable management plan to ensure that the traditional heathland golfing experience is maintained for current and future generations of golfer to enjoy. Good practice along with various environmental constraints dictate that chemical, fertilizer and water inputs are minimal, and native grass species are nurtured with the optimum cutting height.

90 Degree Rule

To protect our fairways during the winter months we implement he 90 degree rule, asking all golfers to travel down the rough, leave trolleys etc and cross to their ball at 90 degree.  Following implmentation in the winter of 2023 this has positively contributed to the quality of fairways during the main playing season.

Carry it Forward

All golfers are asked to leave the course as they wish to find it, this includes filling divots on tee boxes with the soil/seed mix where provided, and replacing on course divots.  Our carry it forward policy asks golfers to pick up any divot they find and replace it in the next divot mark they find.
