Dress Code & Mobile Phone Policy
Our Policy is intended to be simple in its application whilst remaining in touch with both tradition and the modern game of golf.
Course & Practice Areas
Smart golf attire is consistent with what is sold in reputable golf retail outlets.
Therefore, no denim, cargo trousers/shorts, tracksuits, football shirts or beachwear.
Appropriate golf shoes are to be worn on the course at all times.
Clubhouse
Smart casual dress is required at all times; this can include denim jeans (Ripped or torn denim is not permitted). Clean trainers, sandals and boat shoes without socks are acceptable, but NO flipflops.
Clean and dry spike-less golf shoes are permitted in all areas.
Attire not acceptable on the first floor of the clubhouse:
· Dirty or wet golfing attire
· Hats/caps
· Spiked golf shoes
General
We would prefer you to use the Clubhouse changing rooms for changing your shoes rather than in the car park.
Non-audible use of mobile phones is permitted within the clubhouse. Please consider other club users and take calls outside of the main lounge/bar areas.
Audible use of phones on the course should be for emergencies only.
Please do not be offended if you are asked to leave the Clubhouse or the Course if you fail to observe the AG&WS Dress Code.
