Journey Into Golf at Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands Golf Club
We’ve designed our Journey Into Golf programme to make it easy and enjoyable for new golfers to get started, develop their skills, and become part of our friendly club community.

Stage 1 – Coaching Opportunities
Before stepping onto the course, we encourage all new golfers to take part in our club-organised coaching:
- 6 x One-to-One Lessons with a PGA Club Professional
- Group Coaching Programmes, such as our popular Ladies Academy
These sessions will equip you with the skills and confidence you need to advance to the next stage.

Stage 2 – New to Golf Package – £295
If you’re not quite “course ready” after completing stage 1, you can join our New to Golf package – valid for 12 months from your start date.
Includes:
- Access to all practice facilities
- 10 x 9-hole course vouchers (play after 13:00)
- Extra 9 holes at member's guest rate
- Option to exchange 9-hole vouchers for 30 indoor studio sessions
- 1 x One-to-One Lesson with a PGA Professional
- Social Membership privileges

Stage 3 – Get into Golf Membership – £765 (pro-rata for mid-year joiners)
Once you’re “course ready” and have completed Stages 1 & 2, you can apply for our Get into Golf (GiG) Membership.
Includes:
- Golf course access from 13:00
- Entry into selected competitions (including medals & stablefords – time restrictions apply)
- Fun competitions such as Aspley 9s
- 50% of your GiG Membership fee is deducted from your first full membership invoice when you progress
Note:
- Your place on the club’s full membership waiting list is secured from the date your GiG Membership begins.
- If a space isn't available, you can continue your GiG membership, which is charged as a yearly subscription. If you decline, GiG will end on the following 31st March.
